Affiliate Disclosure
Undo The Desk is reader-supported. When you buy through links on our site, we may earn an affiliate commission at no additional cost to you. This does not influence our reviews — our opinions are our own. Learn more about our testing methodology.
How affiliate links work on this site
Some links on Undo The Desk are tagged affiliate links. When you click one and complete a purchase, the retailer pays us a small commission as a thank-you for the referral. The price you pay is identical to the price you'd pay going to the retailer directly — there is no markup on you, the reader.
The programs we participate in
We participate in the Amazon Associates Program — an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn fees by linking to Amazon.com and affiliated sites. We also participate in direct affiliate programs with brands including (but not limited to) Therabody, Hyperice, Uplift Desk, Flexispot, and Branch Furniture.
When a product can be purchased from multiple sources, we route to whichever program pays the best commission — but we never recommend a product because of the commission rate. If a $30 foam roller is the right buy, that is what we recommend, even though our cut is smaller than on a $500 alternative.
What affiliate revenue does not buy
Affiliate commissions do not buy a positive review. We do not accept payment for review coverage, sponsored placements, or guaranteed inclusion in roundups. We do not let brands review copy before it runs. If we recommend something, it is because we have used it and believe it is the right product for a desk worker dealing with a specific problem.
If a product we previously recommended turns out to be inferior to a new alternative, we update the article — even when the change costs us commission. Our methodology page explains the testing process behind every review.
FTC compliance
This disclosure complies with the Federal Trade Commission's 16 CFR § 255 guidelines on endorsements. Articles that contain affiliate links are also marked with a contextual note where appropriate.
